The campsite

The City of Aleth (or Alet) is located a few hundred meters from the old town, near the port of Bas Sablons. Wild and quiet, one can enjoy a superb panorama on the bay of Saint-Malo, on Dinard, but also on the estuary of the Rance.

Historically, the City of Aleth also houses a fort, occupied by the Germans during the Second World War. Completely surrounded by water, this peninsula is really a small corner of paradise while benefiting from nearby shops.

The Cité d'Aleth campsite is a place of exchange and sharing. Open to all and where everyone must be able to find his place: alone, in couple, family, friends or summer camp. One comes there on foot, by bike to set up his tent (227 pitches) or to settle down in caravan, van or camper.

Environmental approach

La Cité d'Aleth campsite is located in the heart of a wooded park with a high biodiversity. Our philosophy is to allow our holidaymakers to benefit from the richness of this natural setting with various eco-responsible initiatives. Sensitive to ecological issues, it is natural that a large number of actions have been put in place to reduce the impact of our activity on the environment:

 WASTE REDUCTION
- several collection points with selective sorting
- compost bins

ENERGY CONSERVATION
- lighting via motion detectors in the sanitary facilities
- energy-saving light bulbs

RESOURCE CONSERVATION
- dry toilets in the campsite bar
- rainwater collection
- timed taps

GREEN SPACES
- recycling of green waste
- shredding of pruning residues used for the flowerbeds
- recycling of sawdust from dry toilets
- strict limitation of pesticides
- planting of local species

SHORT CIRCUIT
- collaboration with local service providers
- grocery shop with basic products to limit the number of motorized travels outside the
campsite
